The Brendon Arms is a great pub in Bude serving great beers and fine wines. We offer sizzling steaks and locally caught seafood selected and cooked by our expert chefs, three star bed and breakfast or b&b accommodation.
The Brendon Arms has been offering the "Warmest welcome in the West" since 1872. We offer the finest in Cornish produced foods such as locally caught lobster (in season), kept alive in our oxygenated tank. "Home-made" specials change daily and will always include a seafood choice, a vegetarian option, or firm favourites such as steak and kidney or a cottage pie: a beef bourguignon or beef madras. We use fresh locally caught fish and locally reared meat wherever possible.
Take in the local scene at Bude's best situated and most popular pub. The Public Bar shows all Sky TV Sports, and there are Darts, Pool, and a modern Sound System. The Brendon Arms is a family oriented pub;for example, the juke box sound is reduced until 9pm to permit normal conversation: children and dogs (in the Public Bar) are welcome. The Lounge (Lifeboat) Bar, where one places food orders, has a relaxed, comfortable, and suitably nautical atmosphere: there is no juke box and if the TV is on it's always on mute. We have built the best heated smoking shelter in Bude. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet and ample free parking.
Warm bright and airy twin-bedded or double bedrooms, all with en-suite shower facilities and furnished to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Every room has a digital TV and hair dryer equipped.
