Mount Royal is an elegant part Georgian, part Victorian seafront house offering quality 4 star (AA) guest accommodation. In 2011 it received the AA's 'Highly Commended Award'.
Mount Royal has been a successful family run business for over 43 years. Facing near south, the spacious Mount Royal has splendid sea views of Mount's Bay, St Michaels Mount, the Lizard peninsula, Marazion beach and Penzance harbour - and is convenient for Penzance's main transport connections, being just a 5 minute walk from the train and bus stations.
All bedrooms are spacious, traditional in style and character (William Morris and Sandersen wallpapers) and are tastefully furnished - offering en-suite shower or bath facilities, and most with magnificent sea views.
The Victorian dining room retains it's original bespoke fireplace and ornate sideboard, along with wood panelling, decorative ceilings and oak parquet floors. Breakfast is served on fine Wedgwood crockery with accompanying silver cutlery and tea/coffee pots - laid out on white linen pressed tablecloths. No 'self service' here. Choose from a comprehensive menu - including mouth watering fresh fruit salads, full English breakfasts, and fresh smoked poached haddock.

NOTE: Dolphins are often seen in the bay directly in front of Mount Royal. Binoculars provided in bedrooms for dolphin spotting!
